FAST START — The Tuscola baseball team scored five runs in the top of the first to fuel a 9-4 victory over rival Pisgah on Wednesday. Patrick Broom, 21, and Travis Nelson celebrate during an electric first inning.
CANTON — The Tuscola Mountaineers defeated the Pisgah Bears by a score of 9-4 on Wednesday in a game that was not short on fireworks.
The Mountaineers sprinted out to a 5-0 lead in the first and the Bears were forced to make a pitching change from Jaxon Reid to Mason Griffith before the inning was over.
