PISGAH JV — The Pisgah JV football team opened its season with a 41-0 victory over Enka.

The Pisgah JV Bears opened their season on the road at Enka Thursday night with a 41-0 victory over the Jets.

In the first minute of the game, Logan Free scored a touchdown. The extra point by Carlos Araya was good and the Bears led 7-0. After a second touchdown by Drew Timms and the extra point by Luke Pinkston, the Bears led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Logan Free scored his second touchdown of the night with 9:52 left in the second quarter. Pinkston added the PAT and the Bears went to halftime with a 21-0 lead.

The Bears opened the third quarter with an Ian Rogers touchdown and Pinkston’s extra point. With 5:19 left in the third quarter, Aidan Foy intercepted to score for the Bears. The extra point was no good and the Bears led 34-0.

The final touchdown of the night was scored by Isaac Green, followed by Pinkston’s extra point for a final score of Pisgah 41, Enka 0. The JV Bears are home next week in Memorial Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
