Wreaths Across America veterans’ ceremony is Dec. 19

  • 0

Everyone is invited to join the Wreath Across America wreath-laying ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Waynesville’s Greenhill Cemetery.

Every year thousands of Americans come together to honor deceased veterans — reverently placing Christmas wreaths on grave markers in thanks and recognition for veterans’ service.

In Waynesville, this effort is coordinated by the Knights of Columbus, in partnership with American Legion Post 47. The goal is to place wreaths on the 500-plus Veteran’s graves in Greenhill Cemetery.
