Haywood’s Extension Master Gardeners are now accepting reservations for the Small & Tree Fruits class. Participants will learn about small and tree fruits for home gardens that work well in Western North Carolina.

Topics will include site selection; soil preparation; plant selection; pollination requirements; planting; trellising; mulching; weed control; fertilizing; and pruning.

The class will be presented via Zoom on Wednesday, May 5 at 10 a.m. and will last approximately two hours.
