HONORING HCC HISTORY — HCC’s newly completed Dahlia Ridge Trail will officially open June 2 on campus. Enjoy the expanded trail system for hiking and getting outside in nature.
A newly expanded 3.5-mile trail network at Haywood Community College — called the Dahlia Ridge Trail System — will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting from 10 a.m.-noon Friday, June 2.
The network includes 2.5 miles of new trail, which tie into an existing 1-mile loop trail. The trail winds through the wooded areas of campus with varying trail beds — including natural path, gravel and paved segments.
