Since municipal elections in Haywood will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5, the last day The Mountaineer will be publishing municipal-election related letters will be Friday, Nov. 1.
That means letters must be submitted no later than 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, to meet publication deadline.
Any election letters published Monday will be to rebut any contentions or allegations made in Friday’s paper.
These letters must be received no later that 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.
