WAYNESVILLE — Wesley Sutton, 3 years old, went to be with the Lord on Thursday evening, Sept. 5, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his papaw, Donnie Sutton
Wesley is survived by his parents, Daniel and Brendalynn Sutton, grandparents, Janet Sutton, Nana Candace Messer; great-grand parents, Wayne(Mary) Stinnette; one aunt, Yvonne (David) King; four uncles, Gary Haney (Becky Ballard), Donnie Haney, Nathan Sutton and Austin Melton; cousins, Kaitlin (Cruze) Frady, Candace and Kary McGoldrick, Allyssa King and Zaylee Frady; along with multiple extended family and friends.
Wesley loved tractors, tow-trucks and most every vehicle around. Wesley’s favorite car was Lightening McQueen, and he enjoyed watching Peppa the Pig and the Stinky and Dirty Show.
He always wanted to be out and about, always doing something — especially shopping and eating all types of candy. Wesley was a burst of light that touched many lives. He had a contagious laugh, the best smile and a strength that surpassed all that was known.
Wesley was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. He will be forever in our hearts.
The family sends a huge thank you to the community for the love and support shown to Wesley, and a grateful acknowledgement to the doctors, nurses and staff at the P.I.C.U. at Mission Hospital.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Smoky Mountain Chapel. Wesley will be buried at the Sutton Family Cemetery.
Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service of Clyde is caring for the family and the online register is available at www.smokymountaincremations.com.
