CANTON — Vivian Sayer Coman, 86, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at her residence.
Vivian was a native of Hart County, Georgia, and a daughter of the late Holden Felton and Thelma Smith Sayer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Coman, who died in 1999; a brother, Dan Sayer; and her two precious Dachshunds, “Jake and Scooby.”
Vivian worked as an office administrator at UNC Asheville for 15 years and retired in 2002. She was also a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Marcy Scott and son-in-law, Stephen, of Canton and one sister, Carolyn Jackson of Asheville.
At Vivian’s request, no services are planned.
