Robert Hoke Pace, Jr. , 76, of the Little East Fork Community, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at J.F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville.

A native of Haywood County, Bobby was the son of the late Robert Pace, Sr. and Martha Ila Grooms Pace. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as an MP. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Heatherly.

Left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his children, Casandra Copeland, Toni Duncan (Don Snipes), and Crystal (Carl) Manning; brother, Bruce (Patsy) Pace; sisters, Rosemary Trull, Peggy Reece (Frankie), and Annette (Rex) Griffith; brother-in-law, Ronnie Heatherly; eight grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and his two best buddies, Michael Bates and Bruce Dillard.

Bobby retired from Dayco in 1995 after 28 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding the roads. Bobby will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Burial will be held at a later date at Sunburst Cemetery behind Lake Logan.
