Randy Rogers, 55, of Maggie Valley, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 25, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Haywood County, Randy was the son of the late Joseph Rogers and Shirley Trull. He was a simple man that drove a truck and enjoyed living life to the fullest. Randy and his family enjoyed spending lots of time together going to races, motorcycle riding, fishing, going to concerts, yard saling and flea marketing. He loved collecting antiques and finding deals. He was a wonderful husband and father that will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Rogers; son, Joseph Daniel Lee Rogers; grandparents, Charlie and Ina Sawyer and Milburn and Annie Mae Rogers; brother, Danny Joe Rogers; and sister, Teresa Marlene Rogers.
Left to cherish Randy’s memory are his soulmate and loving wife of 24 years, Ann Whitner Rogers; mother, Shirley Trull; sons, Jacob Levi Parks (Heavyn) and Austin McKinley Rogers; one grandchild; along with numerous extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Holly Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Marvin Rogers officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Care Partners Hospice, Helping Angel Hands, and cousin, Angie Williams for everything they did to assist Randy.
