Kathy Doreo, 71, of Mount Carmel, Tennessee, passed away at Indian Path Hospital in Kingsport on Sunday morning, Jan. 5, 2020.
Kathy was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She worked her entire life as a caregiver in the nursing field.
Kathy enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, going to the lake, taking photos and bowling. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Mansfield Sr. and Marion Mansfield; brother, Michael Mansfield and daughter, Nancy Doreo.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Peter Doreo; two daughters, Anna Ledbetter (Michael) of Clyde and Charlene Singleton (Aaron) of Canton; son, P.J. Doreo (Cindy) of Statesville; three grandchildren, Quentin Singleton, Blake Ledbetter, and Kayla Williams; sister, Maureen Mansfield; brothers, James (Elizabeth) Mansfield and Joseph (Juliana) Mansfield; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held from 2-4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at Smoky Mountain Cremations & Funeral Service.
