Ida Adams Price, 83, of the Fines Creek Community, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Ida was born on May 22, 1937, in Pikeville, Kentucky and was a member of Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church. She loved to garden, be outdoors, and quilting. Ida loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loved dearly and will be missed beyond measure.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Paul Price; daughter, Paula Whitted; parents, Millard and Maudie Adams; six sisters; and five brothers.
Ida is survived by her children, JoAnn (Jimmy) Sorrells, David Price, and Fayette Green; grandchildren, Gregg (Tracy) Price, Heath (Sarah) Russell, Carla (James) Ramsey, Bridget (David) Williams, Dakota (Vodi) Mathews; and Hailey Price; great grandchildren, Kimberly and Amy Williams, Dylan and Kendyl Price, Addyson Mathews, Hunter Russell, and Kaitlyn Worley; great-great granddaughter, Charlotte Ida Birch Tolley; brother, George (Becky) Adams; very special friends, Edna Jessup and Valerie Kramer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church, with Pastor Jimmy Moore, Pastor Daniel Sprinkle, and Pastor Billy Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.
