WAYNESVILLE — Georgia Smith Crain, 78, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 at John F. Keever Solace Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late George Vaughn and Maggie Messer Smith. Georgia worked with Ingles for five years in the deli department and was a member of Calvary Road Baptist Church.

The family would also like to acknowledge Georgia’s best friend forever, Laura Blevins.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.

The care of Mrs. Crain has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes and an online memorial register is available at “Obituaries” at www.wellsfuneralhome.com.
