Eunice Nellie McCoury, 94, of Senia, passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at Brooks Howell Home in Asheville.
She was born on June 1, 1925, in Avery County, to the late Minnie “Jo” and Zelzah McCoury. She is survived by numerous cousins.

She loved eating out with her friends and her caretakers. All who ever dined out with Eunice quickly learned that she was beloved by the wait staff of numerous restaurants. She was always greeted with warmth and caring.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Maple Grove UMC on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 11 a.m. The Rev. David Childers and the Rev. Paul Davenport will officiate. A gathering will follow in the Church Fellowship Hall.
