JONATHAN CREEK — Dorothy Jean Hall, 94, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, at Autumn Care of Waynesville.
A lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Lyda and Eugenia Allison Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Hall and her brother, Dwight Hall.
Dot grew up on the farm and enjoyed the simple life. She proudly worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years until her retirement.
This salt of the earth lady will be missed by those who loved her.
Dot is survived by her nieces, Suzanne Hall, of Summerville, South Carolina and Jamie Moody, of Waynesville; nephews, James Dwight Hall (Lynne), Braeden and Carter Hall and Carson Moody, all of Waynesville who will carry on her legacy.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
