LAKE JUNALUSKA — Barbara Nell Martin Mixon, 83, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at Mission Hospital Memorial Campus.
A native of Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Wyatt Martin and Rose Nell Taylor Horne. Barbara retired as dean of the College of Mathematical & Natural Sciences at Berry College with 30 years of service.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 32 years, Wilson Mixon; and two sons, Shane and James Mixon.
No services are planned.
Memorials may be made to Lake Junaluska Assembly, Friends of the Lake, P.O. Box 67, Lake Junaluska, NC 28745.
