Travelers on N.C. 209 Wednesday evening witnessed an alarming scene as a dump truck flipped over and flattened a camper being hauled by a couple from Georgia.

The accident happened within the parking lot of the Pilot Travel Center, an area that has seen numerous traffic issues in the past.
