The Kustom Kemps Of America, (KKOA), has re-scheduled its third annual “Icons of Hotrodding Festival” originally set for May 15-16.

The show will now be held Aug. 21-22 at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds.

KKOA President, Jerry Titus, highly praised the festival grounds and surrounding communities for the friendly, “hometown welcome mat atmosphere,” that local citizens have for the hundreds of Kustom car and truck enthusiasts who bring their show cars each year.

With 40 years of producing car show events throughout America, Titus said the Maggie event site and area "has magic like none other."

“Car shows are mainly a guy thing, and the wife mostly tags along to make him happy,” he said with a laugh. “When Daddy wants to come to Maggie Valley, Mama packs her suitcase first.”

Titus promises that those who "looked like, or liked Fonzy! The “Way We Were,” 1950s petticoats and bobby socks" will love the Kustom Kemps show.

"Supercharged hotrods and low cruisin Kustom cars that were draggin’ Main Street, America will be on display at the show," he said.
