Snowbound, grizzle gray, drift of mist, marshmallow, crushed ice.
No, they’re not the adjectives used to describe a favorite vacation spot, or the newest, tastiest coffee beverage. Rather, they are the names of the latest colors to hit the palette of paint colors from the Sherwin-Williams’ catalog used primarily by WNC Washing & Staining.
As the weather turns cold and home improvement projects shift indoors, Adam Hambleton, owner of WNC Washing & Staining, wants homeowners to know that his crew of painters and a color specialist are waiting to transform your living space into your dream space.
Each appointment starts with a site visit that includes a walkthrough of the room/s to be painted or stained. Hambleton is proud to offer customers everything from room touchups to popcorn ceiling removal and painting to spray or roll paint to drywall patching to media blasting (a process similar to sandblasting but achieved with a sand-alternative safety material done in preparation of staining wood surfaces).
WNC W&S services both residential and commercial accounts.
If a customer needs help picking out a color scheme, or needs tips on how to cozy up or brighten a space, Hambleton said his wife, who specializes in the art of the color wheel, is happy to offer suggestions.
“I carry a Sherwin-Williams paint sample book wherever I go and my wife also helps clients choose their colors,” he said.
“It’s amazing how changing the color of the walls around you can positively impact your life,” said Hambleton. “We have developed a great relationship with Sherwin-Williams and upon request we can have a representative from the store come out and offer consultation. When it comes to paint, oil-based and acrylic-based are two different types of coatings. We make sure the right coating gets applied for the correct surface.”
Educating customers on how paint can soften the ambiance of a bedroom, create a spa-like vibe in a bathroom, or dazzle diners with an inspiring kitchen and dining room is what inspires WNC W&S to go above and beyond.
While creams and timeless grays are trending interior colors today, WNC W&S stays on top of changing themes and traditional tastes.
In addition to taping and tarping off areas, sealing cracks, surface prep and full cleanup, Hambleton’s crew is happy to oblige lived-in homes by moving furniture to ensure it’s safe and fully protected.
For more than 11 years, WNC W&S has serviced hundreds of local customers to great satisfaction.
In their own words, they report:
“Adam always shows up!!!! Can’t stress this enough about Adam and his crew, who always make it happen. If you want the job done right the first time call Adam.”
“Adam and his crew are professional, show up on time, does a great job and doesn’t break the bank! His crew is the only people I trust with my home. Always understanding that my home is part of my family’s heart, Adam’s crew was nice enough to recommend improvements but not sell me something I didn’t need.”
“Top-notch company with top-notch people from ownership to employee.”
