The Seed Library of Waynesville, located in the upper floor of the Waynesville Library, is opening on Monday, March 1.

The seed library is self-sustaining (local seed savers keep it alive and well!) and is celebrating its seventh year.

The seed library offers up to 10 seed packets to anyone with a library card.

Check out the inventory at https://www.haywoodlibrary.org/670/Waynesville-Seed-Library-Canton-Giving-G.

The Seed Library welcomes seed donations that are clearly marked with name and variety, and your contact information. They offer only open-pollinated vegetable or herb seeds (no hybrids and no flowers).

If you need help with seed saving procedure, check out these instructions at https://www.haywoodlibrary.org/DocumentCenter/View/3406/How-To-Save-Seeds.
