Voices in the Laurel children’s choir will present its annual holiday concert on Sunday, Nov. 21, at 2:30 p.m.

The concert is titled “Songs of Hope for the Season,” and includes pieces from the movie “The Polar Express” and many other holiday favorites.

After the concert, swing by Jack the Dipper for a scoop ice cream and to help support the choir’s future programming. 10% of the proceeds will support Voices in the Laurel.

Holiday concert tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets are available online at voicesinthelaurel.org.

“Songs of Hope” will be performed at Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 133 Old Clyde Road, Waynesville.

Formed in 1996, Voices in the Laurel is a Haywood County based non-profit choir for young people ranging from 1st grade through 12th grade from Haywood, Buncombe, Jackson, Macon and Swain counties.c
