Hear from an expert Smoky Mountain fly-fishing guide during the next meeting of the Cataloochee chapter of Trout Unlimited, held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Rendezvous Restaurant in Maggie Valley.
Eddie Hudon of Blue Chip Fly Fishing will share insider tips on fishing some of his favorite waters, including the West Fork of the Pigeon and Jonathan Creek.
Hudon has fished all over the country before settling in Western North Carolina. He eventually retired from his day job and turned his passion for fly fishing into a side venture by starting a fly-fishing guide service. Hudon lives in the Whittier area in Jackson County.
