Everyone is invited to the Taste of Local Food Event to enjoy sampling delicious food from local restaurants, a silent auction, and a chance to win fabulous door prizes such as a gift certificate for a two-night stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Knoxville West.
The event will be held at at Waynesville Recreation Center from 5:30-8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.
This event benefits the nonprofit Medical Patient Modesty. Attendees can receive amazing deals on tickets to various attractions, restaurant gift certificates, as well as gift certificates for shops, and hotels in getaway cities such as Atlanta, Charleston, Charlotte, Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, and more. Starting minimum bids for many of the items are 50 percent off of their full value.

All attendees are asked to bring a bag of food to be donated to the food bank at Haywood Christian Ministry to help needy families in the county.
