A recent fundraiser held by Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Clyde brought in $1,525 for Haywood County Flood victims. The church raised the money during the Oct. 16 fall edition of its annual SpringFest event.

The funds will be distributed through the Canton Missional Network flood fund, said The Reverend James Marsh. Marsh is a member of the Canton Missional Network.

The event featured performances from J Creek Cloggers and bands Cold Mountain Bluegrass, Outlaw Whiskey and Bona Fide.
