The Rev. James Marsh, pastor of Mt. Zion and Fincher’s Chapel United Methodist Churches, will preach at the Canton Lenten Service at noon, Thursday March 16, to be held at Canton First UMC Church at 155 Newfound St. in Canton.

The Rev. Marsh has been in his appointment five years. His previous career was as an law enforcement officer for 20 years. He is now bi-vocational, also working as a manager at Hambleton Services, a landscape company in Maggie Valley. He has been married to his wife, Leigh, for nine years.
