The Haywood County Public Library now offers various educational, crafting and cookery programs on line where individuals and families can learn without leaving their homes.
Some of the virtual programs even have a ‘take and make’ kit that can be picked up at the Canton and Waynesville branches.
To sample some of the recent programming, check out a video on Chinese Pork Buns which has already attracted an audience of more than 1,400 views.
Access all virtual programs and written instructions at: www.haywoodlibrary.org/696/Virtual-Programming or on the Haywood County YouTube channel.
And don’t miss the library’s upcoming series, “Local Delights: Seven Recipes You Should Know How to Make.” Learn how to prepare ramps, biscuits, apple stack cake, pintos and cornbread, scuppernong jelly, three sisters stew and candy roaster pie.
