An almond farmer named Jerry wants to change the negative public perception of his nuts. But when local reporter Alma dies of a nut allergy, things start to go awry, setting off a series of comically fatal accidents.

Theatergoers are invited to stay after the show opening night, Friday, March 17, and the first Sunday performance, March 19, for a talkback with the playwright, the director and the actors.
Recycled Nuts will run March 17-19 and 24-26 in the Fangmeyer Theatre. Show times are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. For tickets, call the HART Box Office at 828-456-6322 or go online at harttheatre.org.
