The Haywood County Public Library’s Waynesville branch is offering holiday craft programs for children during December.
• Holiday Paper Art for Kids: 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at the Waynesville library. Learn how to make some fun holiday cards and other paper art just in time for the holiday season. Ideal for elementary-aged children.
• Celebrate Ruby, the US Capitol Christmas Tree: 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Waynesville library. Learn about Ruby, the tree selected to stand at the U.S. Capitol for Christmas and make an ornament to hang on the library Christmas tree.
• Make a Holiday Snow Globe: 3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the Waynesville library. Make a fun winter themed snow globe just in time for the holidays. Ideal for elementary-aged children. To register, contact Lisa at lisa.hartzell@haywoodcountync.gov or call 828-356-2511.
