A festive Christmas shopping event with a DIY gift-wrapping station to benefit Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Cornerstone Mercantile in the Frog Level district of Waynesville.
The “Sip ‘N Shop for Sarge’s” event includes wine and cheese, shopping in the 10,000-square-foot showroom, and pups to pet and adopt. Cornerstone Mercantile’s showroom is filled with an eclectic combination of durable goods and heirloom wares.
Attendees may buy or bring their presents to wrap at a do-it-yourself wrappin’ and waggin’ bar. Wrap those gifts and mark people off the holiday list, while supporting homeless dogs and cats of Haywood County. Entry to the event is free and there will be door prizes.
