The second annual Fines Creek Heritage Fair had everything going for it — almost.
While the weather was perfect, organizers said the Friday evening attendance was a bit light due to the Pisgah-Tuscola rivalry game. But, the Saturday/Sunday crowds more than made up for it.
Dale Ledford, who came up with the idea for a heritage fair in Fines Creek, issued a special thanks to all the vendors, the many community volunteers and sponsors who helped make the weekend a success.
“After the sun went down on Saturday, things really livened up,” Ledford said of the evening of music held during the event. “Sunday was great because everybody loves old cars.”
