The United Way of Haywood County is pleased to accept a $3,000 contribution from State Farm agents Chad McMahon, Clay Dangerfield and Angie Franklin for Flood Recovery.

This gift will be used to help those who were affected by recent flooding in Haywood County. Over $1,000,000 has been raised at this time from personal and corporate contributions for relief for those affected, according to United Way.

“The recent flooding in Western North Carolina left families homeless, communities torn apart and lives changed forever. One thing that has not been damaged, is the good neighbor spirit of the people, and I am honored that we can assist in rebuilding our community”, said State Farm agent Chad McMahon on behalf of the group. “These are the times that matter most in our offices. We work daily to assist families recover and restore their lives.”
