The Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department will offer a senior trip to Greeneville, Tennessee, to visit the home of President Andrew Johnson. This trip will leave the Waynesville Recreation Center at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The Andrew Johnson National Historic Site is a National Historic Site, maintained by the National Park Service. It was established to honor Andrew Johnson, the 17th President of the United States, who became president after Lincoln was assassinated.
Participants will be responsible for paying their fee to the historical site and lunch. The cost is $10 per person.
