Fresh blueberries in harvest baskets

The community is reminded to place an order for the 2021 Haywood County Master Gardener plant sale.

Edibles (berries and asparagus) and hard-to-find native plants (perennials to attract pollinators) are available at exceptional prices.

Order forms are available by sending an email to; on the Haywood Extension website at; at the Cooperative Extension Office on Raccoon Road in Waynesville; or by calling the office at 828-456-3575. Orders are pre-paid and due by March 1.

Edibles will be available for pickup on Saturday, April 10, and native plants on Saturday June 5. Plant pick-up will be drive-thru and contactless.

Proceeds from the plant sale fund educational horticulture projects in Haywood County.
