The Vaya Health Geriatric and Adult Mental Health Specialty Team will offer a presentation on Parkinson’s Disease at noon, Thursday, Oct. 24, the Waynesville Recreation Center.

Parkinson’s Disease has been diagnosed in more than one million Americans, with 60,000 new cases expected to be diagnosed this year alone. This presentation will focus on gaining understanding about Parkinson’s Disease and how symptoms manifest itself in the body, latest theories about possible causes and treatments available.
