After much anticipation Dale’s Wheels Through Time Museum opened it doors to strong and excited crowds on Oct. 1. The museum’s all new “Motorcycle Cannonball “exhibit is already drawing rave reviews and will be held over throughout the 2021 season.
However the opening wasn’t without its challenges.
“We have been so excited to see our visitors and members making their way back to “The Museum That Runs,” said museum Founder Dale Walksler. “Due to limited staff, the requirements that we must meet for COVID-19 have caused some unexpected difficulties with our previous hours of operation. In order to ensure the safety of visitors and staff the museum will be modifying those days and hours”
In limiting its days and hours, the museum picked the times that seem to be the most popular for those traveling to the area to visit.
“We understand that for some this might be a disappointment,” said Walksler, “but we hope to be back to our regular schedule for the 2021 season.”
The Museum’s new hours of operation will be Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. The museum will be operating on the revised schedule through the end of the 2020 season which ends Nov. 23.
The museums’s annual Raffle Day will be held on Nov. 14 with the iconic 1939 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead being given away to one lucky entrant.
