The Cruso Mini Library reported a good year, with more than 550 books checked out and 775-plus books donated. In addition, two tall bookcases and one tower were donated.
Maureen Murphy-Goodfellow, volunteer librarian, said the summer reading program was successful.
Several recent donations have added to the library, with more than 90 books, including nonfiction Work War II military history (many first person accounts), paperbacks and numerous board books for infants, toddlers and early readers.
The Cruso Mini Library is next to the Cruso Fire Station in the Cruso Community Center. To receive the newsletter, email the librarian at firstname.lastname@example.org.
