Lindsey Curley, CPA, CGMA was again named a recipient of CPA Practice Advisor’s annual 40 Under 40 Award for the third consecutive year.

This is a national program designed to recognize and honor young leaders who are emerging as the future leaders in the accounting profession.

This year’s honorees are changing the accounting profession through their  leadership, innovative thinking, collaborative efforts to provide unity to the profession and their community outreach, which extends the visibility of the profession outside the workplace.

Curley first found her passion for accounting when working for Sam M. Underwood, CPA of Waynesville, while she was a student at Tuscola High School. Curley is now a senior manager on the firm services team at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants in Durham.

She is the daughter of Mike and Susan Ferguson, Waynesville, and granddaughter of Claudia Ferguson, Lake Junaluska, and Ed Terrell, Bakersville.

Curley, her husband Chris and daughter Ava, reside in Raleigh.
