Mike Bonfoey to speak

The public is invited to meet and speak with Haywood County’s own District Attorney Mike Bonfoey from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11 at the WNC visitor’s center, located at 262 Depot Street.

After obtaining his law degree, Mike Bonfoey served as an assistant district attorney until the fall of 1981. He then entered the private practice of law in Waynesville with an emphasis on trials. During his time in the private practice of law, he served for many years as the town attorney for Waynesville. He has been elected and served as president of the Haywood County Bar and president of the 30th District Bar.

Deborah Blevins, the creator and host of Let’s Talk said, “There is always time for those in attendance to share their experiences, strengths and hopes.”

The Let’s Talk Group promotes dialogue between local residents, their community leaders and respected professionals from the area in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
