HRMC to offer free knee screening

In order to assist individuals with knee injuries in resuming normal activities, the highly trained staff of physical therapists at HRMC is offering a free knee screening at the Haywood Regional Health and Fitness Center on Tuesday, Jan. 9, by appointment only.

During this event, a therapist will spend one-on-one time with each individual, determining intervention methods in order to develop a treatment plan that focuses on alleviating chronic knee pain.

Because of its complex structure and weight-bearing capacity, the knee is the most commonly injured joint. Each year, more than 5.5 million people visit orthopedic surgeons for knee problems.

Space for the knee screening is limited. Please call 452-8070 to register.
